Position: Senior Laser Process Engineer Diamond Foundry is seeking a Senior Laser Process Engineer responsible for deploying and optimizing new laser machines across our facilities. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, automation, optical, software, and system engineers to improve and deploy laser technologies company-wide. You will develop standard procedures, manuals, and train staff for process optimization, technical support, and process improvement related to lasers. Responsibilities Optimize laser processes to produce high-yield, dimensionally stable diamond parts. Lead process improvement projects to scale manufacturing. Conduct hands-on experiments with laser equipment. Analyze complex data to derive actionable insights and solutions. Coordinate with team members to align with production goals. Requirements Advanced degree in Materials Science, Applied Physics (materials, laser, or optics focus), or Engineering, with 3+ years of relevant experience. Experience with mass production of diamonds, semiconductors, or ceramics. Expertise in optical fundamentals, laser materials processing, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Quick learner capable of adapting to new tools and workflows. Knowledge of optics and optical principles, with experience deploying laser-based processes or products. Salary range: $130,000 - $140,000 per year. The position is eligible for company shares. Compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications.
