Job Title: Sanitation Worker

Job Description

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all machinery, equipment, and facilities to establish a clean environment for producing and packaging quality products.

1st. shift: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with GMP/SOP requirements by wearing appropriate attire such as hair nets and glasses.
• Perform manual labor, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Work efficiently and maintain good attendance.
• Inspecting raw materials
• Restacking pallets
• Cleaning racks and any additional master cleaning schedule support as needed

Essential Skills

• Ability to work in a GMP/SOP environment.
• Capability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects.
• Strong work ethic and good attendance record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with GMPs.
• Production experience.
• Experience cleaning machinery.
• Experience picking products.
• Hardworking and flexible attitude.
• Team player with the ability to put in extra hours as needed.

Work Environment

This position is in a food manufacturing environment that complies with all CGMP and HAACP guidelines. The production floor is not climate-controlled, resulting in cold conditions during the winter and hot conditions during the summer. Work boots are required, and adherence to CGMP policies is mandatory. No jewelry is allowed, and appropriate hair netting must be worn. Available shifts include 1st shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm,

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsauken, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
