Who our client is: A Podiatry Practice that provides the highest level of foot and ankle care to patients of all ages. Our client believes that early intervention, prompt diagnosis, careful prevention, and effective treatment are the essential tools used in caring for and treating your feet. They utilize state-of-the-art digital x-ray and ultrasound systems to aid in their diagnoses, and they provide their patients with a full range of Podiatric medical treatment. Together, we are searching for a Medical Assistant to join their team at their Fort Myers, FL location. Requirements: Prepare patients for examinations and podiatric procedures. Take and record vital signs and patient medical histories. Assist the podiatrist during exams and minor surgical procedures. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring a clean and sterile environment and stocked rooms. Apply and remove dressings, pads, and splints as directed. Provide patient education on foot care, wound care, orthotics, and post-treatment instructions. Perform x-rays, scan for orthotics, scan for AFO's. Qualifications: Prior experience in podiatry or specialty medical practice is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment X-ray Certification in FL, preferred but not necessary. Compensation : $45K-$50k based on experience.
