About the Role:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Air & Ocean Import & Export Agent with a specialty in Fairs, Events, and Tradeshows logistics. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the dynamic intersection of international freight forwarding and live event logistics. You will be responsible for coordinating time-sensitive international shipments via air and ocean, ensuring smooth customs clearance, and on-time delivery for exhibitions, conventions, and special events around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end-to-end import and export operations (air and ocean) for event-related shipments
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all shipping deadlines are met
• Prepare and process shipping documents including bills of lading, AWBs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations
• Arrange pick-ups, bookings, and deliveries in alignment with event schedules and venue restrictions
• Liaise with customs brokers and government agencies to ensure regulatory compliance
• Track and trace shipments; provide timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders
• Attend or support on-site at select events or tradeshows when needed (domestic and international travel may be required)
• Resolve shipment issues quickly and proactively, including delays, documentation issues, or customs holds
• Maintain accurate files and records in accordance with company and legal requirements

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with emphasis on air and ocean import/export
• Previous experience handling event, exhibition, or tradeshow logistics highly preferred
• Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and Incoterms
• Hands-on experience with CargoWise is required
