No weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts
Overview:
Join the specialized pharmacy team at the Perlman Center for Advanced Medication, where cutting-edge infusion therapies are prepared for patients undergoing treatment for cancer, multiple sclerosis, dermatological conditions, infectious diseases, and more. This role is vital in ensuring the accuracy and safety of IV admixture preparation in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and compound sterile IV admixtures, including chemotherapy and other specialty medications
\tFollow USP <797>/<800> and institutional protocols for sterile compounding
\tCollaborate closely with pharmacists and nursing teams to ensure timely delivery of medications
\tMaintain accurate records and labeling of compounded products
\tEnsure cleanliness and compliance in the cleanroom and anteroom areas
\tSupport inventory control and supply management
\tRequirements:
Current CPhT certification (PTCB required)
\tMinimum of 2 years pharmacy technician experience, preferably in sterile or chemo compounding
\tPrior experience in an infusion or hospital setting strongly preferred
\tDemonstrated knowledge of aseptic techniques and IV preparation standards
