We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** CPMC-California Pacific Med Center - Mission Bernal **Position Overview:** Assists licensed laboratory personnel by performing certain limited duties as permitted under CABPC 1269. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION** HS Diploma or GED or equivalent education/experience **PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:** At least one (1) year experience and/or training as a laboratory assistant. **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE** + Knowledge of software applications such as MS Word and Excel. + Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. + Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization. + Requires the ability to apply independent judgment while carrying out written and/or oral instructions, deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations and work with Laboratory Information System.
