Job Description - Overnight Admissions & Inpatient Care: Evaluate and admit patients from the ED, conduct night rounds, and manage care for previously admitted patients.
- Cross-Coverage Support: Provide backup to APCs, assist with ICU needs including rapid responses and Code Blue events.
- Clinical Supervision (Optional Academic Track): Supervise residents and support triage and admissions for teaching teamsthree nocturnists typically cover each night.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, specialists, social work) and ensure comprehensive transitions at shift change.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain thorough charting of histories, physicals, daily notes, and plans of care, ensuring compliance and accurate comorbidity coding.
Salary Range $241,062.00 to $343,513.35
The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
