The Division of Mental Health is seeking to hire a Health Information Administrator for the Alton Mental Health Center located in Alton, Illinois. Plans, organizes and supervises the collection and maintenance of all medical and clinical records for the patients of the hospital. Develops reports on all patients at the hospital in accordance with the standards of accrediting and regulatory agencies. Serves as the facility Legal Liaison. Coordinates all court activities for patients and hospital staff. Directs the implementation of the Health Insurance Privacy and Portability Act (HIPA).

Work Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday, 1-hour unpaid lunch
