Job Title: Sr Product Manager, Data

Location: Glendale, CA – Onsite 4 days a week

Compensation Expectation : $70 – 85/hr

What You'll Do As a Data Product Manager:

  • Coordinate the ingestion, aggregation, and materialization of small-to-medium-to-very-big tables used by data analysts and scientists
  • Lead the design and development of data visualizations, dashboards and custom web applications
  • Create and socialize team roadmaps internally and with key stakeholders
  • Foster collaboration between engineering and business units
  • Audit and evaluate our existing reports and BI systems usage for best practices and optimization opportunities
  • Platform Strategy & Roadmap : Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data platform based on business priorities, technical scalability, and security requirements. Create user stories, bugs, and tasks to accomplish the initiatives
  • Platform Optimization : Work closely with the data team to design and implement new features. Identify opportunities to automate tasks, leverage technology and streamline the delivery of data. Identify and mitigate risk and ensure controls are in place throughout the data delivery lifecycle. Lead initiatives to improve governance, security, efficient data processing, costs and CI/CD.

Qualifications:

You could be a great fit if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in the data technology industry, primarily in roles focused on data engagement—from interpreting data to its precise application for business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, Data Analyst, or similar role in a data-driven environment.
  • Advanced or expert SQL programming
  • Experience with data: statistics, data cleansing, data wrangling. Scripting languages (i.e. Python, R) and big data technologies (i.e. Databricks, Snowflake) are a huge plus
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and analytics platforms.
