Location: Sterling Heights, MI, United States Date Posted: May 9, 2025 Category: Engineering Requisition ID: 13784 Career Level: Mid-Career Remote Work Options: On-Site Clearance Type: Secret The function of this position is to support the Cyber and Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) section with responsibility for Cyber architecture, technology, evaluation, testing, and compliance across the US market. The role supports the delivery of products and services to Ground Combat Platforms. This is an engineering management position to broadly execute guidance from the platform Chief Engineer, Systems Engineering Manager, and functional management. Ensure a balanced, integrated, and compliant Cyber design across the vehicle system. Manage/support the development and implementation of platform cyber-physical design best practices, tools, and education across the engineering enterprise to foster a cyber security culture. Develop and manage system requirements and interface allocations, including Performance, Space, Weight, Power-Cooling, Reliability, and Maintenance SWaP-CRaM, and ensure compliance documentation. Manage and coordinate requirements, architectures, system designs, and changes, including trade-offs and final resolutions. Conduct trade studies and structured decisions for system and subsystem design, considering impacts on space, weight, power, cost, reliability, and performance across a Cybervehicle suite. Oversee development and execution of verification plans, including testing, production, and field verification. Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution for production, development, and testing projects. Develop and evaluate checkpoint and milestone artifacts and review for technical accuracy and contractual compliance. Coordinate with platform Design IPTs on interface development, threat analysis, and requirement decomposition. Evaluate new Cyber and C5ISR technologies for potential application on GDLS products. Manage and participate in peer reviews. Position Requirements Candidates will be considered on the aggregate of the position requirements; it is not necessary to possess experience in all categories: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related science, or equivalent (Relevant cyber certificates and management credentials considered) Minimum of 7+ years’ experience Experience leading engineering and/or military projects Experience leading teams in technical development projects Experience in military vehicle development and integration Experience interpreting customer requirements and translating them into technology requirements Experience developing and managing system-level cyber requirements Familiarity with electrical line replaceable units and troubleshooting electronic hardware Experience with cyber warfare (offensive and/or defensive) Experience with embedded systems, automotive, and military systems Knowledge of software and computer science principles Familiarity with cyber physical system security requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% Additional Information This position requires eligibility for a US security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible. Ability to climb on/off and work around military vehicles is desired. Must pass ASR test (Anthropometric Size Requirement for confined space).
