The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services, known as the most "spirited" agency in Utah, is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team in St. George. Join us to take your retail career to new heights and work with a dynamic team committed to excellence! Responsibilities Assist the manager with all aspects of the operations of a State Liquor Store. Delegate work assignments. Provide superior customer service to support the department's service-focused mission. Maintain employee leave and payroll records. Receive and fill orders for licensees. Perform cashiering duties. Minimum Requirements Management experience in a fast-paced retail store. Ability to motivate and bring out the best in employees. Commitment to excellent customer service. Strong work ethic. Able to lift 50 pounds regularly. At least 21 years old. Successfully pass a background check. Preferences Current employees of the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services may be given preference. Note: DABS stores are closed on Sundays and all state and federal holidays.
